If you haven't found one on CL, or trading Post, than who knows. . . I am sure they are out there, but, it's enough for him to have fun on, learn the controls, and just get the feeling of being on 2 wheels under power.

Plus, resell value is pretty stable on these things. SO long as it is maintained, and he doesn't flog it, you can sell it for more than likely, what you paid for it, when the time comes.

CRF150 is the way to go. Perfect bike for a kid.

go for it. That's not a bad price at all, if it is running strong, and has a little work done to it.

Sometimes a dirtbike will have a title, if this one does, it will probably say For Offroad Use Only up top. In FL, you need a title to get it stickered to ride in the state forests, I don't think you need one in VA because they're so uptight here it's hard to find anywhere to legitimately ride anyhow.

I'd say you can't really go wrong with an RM65...it's small enough (height wise) to where even if it's a bit peppy for him, he won't be intimidated by standover height and if he does dump it, he doesn't have far to get to the ground.

Personally, I look at any mods within the engine as a minus, but I'm weird like that. I tend to be a pessimist and wonder what warranted that mod in the first place. If it's a 2004, I'd def try to get it for less than 800, it's not like there's a huge market for an 8 year old 65cc dirtbike at the present.

Well kbb has it for 960 and he has all this work done to it with receipts so I guess for 750 to 800 I really cant go wrong. Thank you guys for all the info.
