I would pick up a foxbody for $1,000 and throw in a 347 stroker or a 351.

91-93 Escort GT - More power than any Civic produced before 1999, equal-length halfshafts so it gets the posi-traction when in a straight line, and you absolutely cannot break it. I tried. Trust me.

I'm looking for an 85 Tempo as a beater for me. Had one when I was younger and was a great beater-driver. Let alone it would do reverse burnouts like a champ!

My friend has a 90 Tempo and I did a burnout with it and got it on tape.
