yeah, the forecast said 1-2 ft ankle high yesterday and choppy....than I went to 78th street and there were some chest high sets, and yes they were choppy but there were also plenty of good rideable waves....fuck dem reports, PM me your number ill text or call you to let you know how it is when we get down there

i went to first street yesterday morning, there were chest high sets coming through, it was constant thigh to waist and clean. It was a little slow and mushy but i wanted to ride my new board and get used to it, i had alot of fun. Went down there to look at it in the evening and it was crapped out, wind on it hard. im hoping for better surf this weekend.

As for the waves...hope you guys have longboards too lol. Need to dawn patrol is on sat morning, then hit it again when it cleans up in the evening. Then hit dawn patrol on sunday too, to get the best of the little bit of surf there is. And pray the wind stays down.

i was hoping someone would say this, wasnt sure how hard some of you would be partying on saturday, didnt know if anyone would be feeling good enough to get up that early, when i hear how it is saturday night and such from one of you ill be heading down there about 4:15am on sunday from here in vb, maybe a little eariler depending how good the forecast is looking and time of the tide, hopefully i can meet you guys wherever your going out. you guys are staying at koa in rodanthe right ? im assuming your going out somewhere in rodanthe, or are you gonna be going north or south a bit ? either way ill meet up with ya guys if theres looking to be any thigh + surf. thigh+ down there is always better than thigh+ here. And god i hope it stays calm so we can have some clean surf.
