I'm about to get a KLR650 and I can see there aren't many dual sports on here.

Bummer, I was hoping to find some riding buddies...

this is my first bike and I bought it exactly how it sits now, I like the stance of the bike. as far as the rest of the bike goes I am a complete NEWB to it and Im not sure what I am looking at. The bike seems to have decent power (for now) until I get use to it and when that happens Id like to do some motor upgrades but not sure where to look or what to look for? easiest way to get more power out of those bikes is to drop in a bigger motor. All the oil cooled suzuki's use the same motor mounts, so a gsxr1100 or bandit 1200 motor will bolt right in. I used to own an 86 gsxr750 with a bandit 1200 motor (with gsxr cams) in it. Freakin ROCKET.
