So a 3,000 dollar paint job is shit, but a 6,000 paint job is golden? I seem to remember a certain car from one of these 6,000 paint job shops come into a certain shop a while back and have runs in it,better yet, two cars from the same shop, and we gave car owner number two enough shit about it that he took it back......

We are determining good or bad paint jobs based on price now? What about "what processes will be taken to paint my car?'' Many half ass the work and it becomes a shit paint job because the process was horrible. No sanding, no fixing body lines, painting thin in some areas, not enough reducer used, not enough wet sanding and buffing, paint not cured well enough, paint preparation is horrible, yet we are talking about prices....id rather ask what process will you be taking on my vehicle. Many painters half ass their work and put a price behind it. Idk, with all the other methods of painting and the different coating technology it's only a matter of time till the "car painting business'' is exposed for their bullshit selling tactics. When have you ever had a consistent price on painting a car? One guy charges $1000 another shop charges $6000 and another charges $3000....wtf?


I'm no paint expert but I do know the processes used in painting a car and that's always more important to know than knowing the prices because they could charge you $6000 and wet sand it and spray over your shit paint.....or someone could pay $3000 and get the correct effort in doing an amazing job. It's always a hit or miss and many times it's who you know.
