And Joey, I don't think you're really one to say who is a ricer and who isn't. Unless you've drastically changed your car since I last saw it. An auto Civic DX with an intake, fart can muffler, spray painted front lip, and black spray painted black hood. For you to try and make any judgements about who is rice or not is totally hypocritical.

Well it seems that we all have different opinions on what rice is. Me personally the best definition of rice is 1hothatch. A freakin retard that doesnt know crap about cars or the scene. Someone who saw the fast and the furious and put a GT wing and leds on his 1992 escort that has more rust than paint.
To me a ricer is a person who has no patience. What I mean is they get body kits and put them on their car without painting them. If they cant get the whole kit they buy the front and back and no side skirts, or the front and sides no back, etc. Ricer is the mentality of this person. This is the idiot who has 2 rims and steelies riding around that comes in the parking lot burning tires and trying to race up and down the street right at the meeting spot. We all like different styleing and have want our cars to do different things, but what the point of making your car look fast and all you have under the hood is a base model engine with intake and exhaust? Personally I like the sleeper look, you catch people off guard. If you want to spend loads of money to make your car look good with gull wing doors see through hoods and enough lights to light up the runway at Norfolk Interantional then go ahead and do it. Thats YOUR car not mine. Me personally I would never enter my car into any show or contest, not because I think I would lose(which I would) but because I dont like show, I like go. I got into an arguement with my Mom about Ferraris. She said that I wanted a Ferrari to look good and get chicks and I got pissed because thats not why I want a Ferrari, I WANNA HAUL ASS!!! I like going fast the faster the better. I like mechanics, modifying cars, engines, turbos. Even if I saw a sweet looking car and a piece of shit next to it, I would gawk at the piece of shit if I heard a BOV go off when they took off. Best example: Galant VR-4, looks completely stock, like a normal galant, but their is a monster under the hood and it roars under boost. I mean come on man who wouldnt like to have a stock looking Integra(example) that eats vettes and vipers off the line?

I agree. If you think your car looks tight then it is to YOU. But there has to some limitations set on it for there is on everything. So if you see a P.O.S. with a shopping cart wing and a coffee can...ricer. Other than that, if your car looks nice the way it is, then hey who cares.
