Anyone going from Williamsburg to Hampton any time soon?
Same request as last time, only this time they called to tell me it is in fact ready. Anybody willing to give me a ride from Williamsburg to Hampton so I can get my car from the bodyshop? During business hours or not is fine. Tomorrow or day after and so on. With Spring Break, people I know are out of town.

Re: Anyone going from Williamsburg to Hampton any time soon?
LOL. I wanted my danged German paint.
Now I ended up taking the car back after the initial pick up because the door alignment was off, the door check was bent, and there was a ding in it (and some other things like nobody even buffed down the tape line). The dent was shallow and close to the leading edge, so apparently the paintless dent repair guy could only do so much...I'll have to see it. Sucks that I buy the last new door in the country for this car, and they put a ding in it before painting it and don't see it to fill it.
I got a used but nice lower clladding to put on there (they could only get the one that was on the car so straight, it's close, but not perfect, though it was understood that would be the case going into this). How much would you want to strip it and paint it to match the rest of the cladding on the car? Nftuatan...or however you spell it, if you see this I'd be interested to hear what you charge too.

I thought about that, but craigslist is full of weirdos, whereas this place is full of weirdos who like cars.
Worst comes to worst I'll either wait until people are back in town for classes, or suffer the 3.5 hours of riding the bus and making 4 transfers one more time.

So, unless someone steps in the plan is to get on the bus at 8:30am to arrive at the destination 30 miles away at noon.
How about I'll hand wash your car?

Try $60. Hooray Hampton Roads public transportation.
The 15 year old beater SUV I'm rolling in doesn't have a CD player, leaving me to listen to whatever the best song on the radio happens to be. If I hear Phil Collins sing about how he can feel it coming in the air tonight one more time, I'm going to chuck the radio out of the car.
