Need design suggestions...
Just finished up with my first box build..mechanically done, but looking for suggestions as to how to finish it. Initial thoughts were to just match the factory carpet, but I am also pretty handy with an airbrush. Thought about glassing it b4 paint too, although it's not really necessary. Thought about laying it with exotic wood too, kinda like a surfboard, although I think it would be horribly out of place in the back of my truck. Anyone halve any input? I'd appreciate it...writer's block and all.

That's kinda what I was thinking too. I'm planning on bending a cage to bolt it to the floor...AFOAF's son got beheaded by a subwoofer box in an accident awhile back, so I'm trying to prevent a similar incident. I'll prolly flip it too, to protect the subs. Where do you get car upholstery cheap? I tried Hancock, but the best I could come up with was a supersweet flannel pattern.

Seriously though, I think you are talking about ports, and no, it's designed to be a sealed box. Only additional holes are the two that are going to be just barely big enough to slide the wires through to the subs.
