What oil and filter should I use (ZX-6R)
Well it is time for me to do the first oil change on my bike sence I've had it. It has 2400 miles on it and I am not sure when the other owner did a oil change so I just want to start fresh.
But I wanted your opinon on what type of oil and filter to use. And the best chain lube.
Any advice would help....

I agree. You might want to search around a little bit. There's plenty of usefull information there if you dig through the rest of the garbage.
I had all of my oil changes down at the local shop when I was getting other work done, so to be honest, I'm not sure what oil and filter was used.. he just did it to spec.

go to the dealer and ask them,I only use oem oil and filter in my bike,I personally like honda lube it is clear and forms a poly film around the chain so it doesnt sling off and get all messy

I always use oem filters but i hear good things a/b k&ns. As far as oil thats purely up to you and how you use the bike. If you wanna use a synthetic mobil 1 is great.(motorcycle specific)

I use the filters you can get at advance auto which are about 1/3rd the price of what you pay at the dealer. Think they're Frams. I bought a bunch of kawilube oil at the dealer when I had a discount coupon and use that. There's a ton of thoughts on the oil but you can't go wrong with the manufacturers stuff. I think I use some kind of kawi chain lube also. Can't remember because I only clean and spary down my chain every 1k miles or so
