CRX header
I'm looking to buy a header for '88 CRX Si. Ran across several different kinds... Hedman, DC Sport, OBX. Any opinions on brand?
I've heard of Hedman & DC, but not OBX. What kind of quality can I expect? i.e exact fit, workmanship, material, etc.
Thanks in advance

Re: CRX header
What motor?
What kind of power are you looking to make?
If you want to look cool, get a megan/obx/dc sport header. If you want to make power look into something else.

Re: CRX header
Cheapest one you can find,as long as they are thicker than a damn 1/16th. none of them are gonan gain any hp to make a diff. Unless you plan on building the entire engine over time. then get somthing good...otherwise they are the same shit.but in the end its still a D series without boost, isnt gonna ever get much higher than 150whp. what ya need is turbo manifold..lol

Re: CRX header
If you're looking for a B series header, just be warned that MOST aftermarket headers hang below the oil pan. So with that...if you plan on buying one of those quality high dollar headers, don't slam your ride or you'll find yourself changing headers...ALOT!
As far a the D series, I haven't found it to be much of an issue.
Either way, the statements above hold true. Do not waste your money unless the motor is built...meaning really BUILT!

Re: CRX header
As far as off the shelf d-series headers go... try to find a 1 peice with the longest runners that initially "shoot out" from the head. Also, you will want one with a decent sized collector or you can modify a smaller one.
