Default VW shop/mechanic on the peninsula???

Anyone know of any good shops or mechanics on the peninsula other than dealer.

there is a shop called whitehead's in oceana bld for more info on vw in the area log on to www.hrdubs.com

yea. what is it you are trying to get done?? or just a general shop to get stuff done at? whiteheads will work on watercooled cars and from what i understand its a really good shop. but on this side of the water there isnt much.

yeah i dont know if the guys at whitehead's have experience with the newer dubs though.

I'm just lookin for a shop in case I need general stuff done. Someone who works on MKIV's. Thanks for the help though.

all you need is a bently manual , some tools, and a lot of beer, and you can fix anything ona vw

yo. i have had plenty of work done at whiteheads on both the corrado and the 00 passat 1.8t. Brent and his team are good guys, they know their way around a vw whether it be new or old. They also get help from the dealer every now and then, or even help the dealer out. One thing though- usually there is a 2-3 day wait to get ur car in there, if ur cool like me though, just drive it in. oh ya, his sister is cute too.
