What do you consider expensive?

Good doesn't come out to cheap in most cases.

The Boot on 21st or La Galleria behind MacArthur center at 120 College Place. Both are great.

+1 Aldos... Sirrena's (sp) if you are looking for downtown norfolk

EDIT: Sirena Cucina Italiana... smack dab in the middle of downtown norfolk. Haven't been.. but have heard good things. www.sirenanorfolk.com

1st off thats not norfolk, and I would never call it an upscale version of olive garden, I frequent it often and they will make you whatever you want and the service is amazing. Not to mention the food is delcious!

I said upscale Olive Garden because the pricing isnt anything like going to Melting Pot or RUth Chris its in between. Also the resturant is nice inside but again nothing near a 5 star place as well. The food is really good and some of the best italian food ive had. And I didnt see Norfolk in the original post my bad on that.

You could just go to Bella Pizza off Colley Ave. Cheap and good food. Service.......ok
