I’m going to get my spoiler painted again soon. I let Macco do it the first time (stupid I know) and wasn’t very happy with the job. I took the spoiler off the car and filled it with foam to stop it from rattling when I closed to trunk. In the process I managed to get the foam stuff on it and really messed up the paint.


These shops seem to be pretty highly regarded here I’ll probably get a price from both of the shops in Va Beach then decide.

Anyplace else near Indian River I should try or anyplace other than Macco to stay away from?

The paint is yellow and I want to match the car as close as possible (it’s an ’09 so not much fading yet). Macco was very close on the color but had runs on one of the legs, two missed spots on the bottom, and bad orange peel.

Any advice or tips to help me get it painted right this time would be appreciated.

I’m starting to think I should make the trip across the river to Hampton and talk to Duane at Affordable Automotive. I would have liked to have had it done a little closer to home; but, I want it done right this time and don’t want to spend too much.
