Valve Cover Make Over
Been Bored as hell sitting at home on furlough for the last two months. Valve cover was starting to chip an flake so I got my hands on some Aircraft stripper and some VHT Wrinkle Black and the rest is history. I also changed the color of the spark plug cover for something a lil different. Plus no more Shocker

Re: Valve Cover Make Over
Did you/ are you going to clearcoat the green?
1st pic the green looks kinda flat, the 2nd pic both the plug cover and the radiator mounts look really glossy.
Looks good as is, just enough to accent the bay without going overboard on bright colors.

With the Wrinkle Black, it called for 3 coats to be applied at different angles. Was really simple and dried very fast. With the Green I think I did the same, 3 coats.
Its a Semi-gloss , I think the flash from phone prolly gave it the shine. Thanks I didn't want to go overboard. Especially if I am still up in the air about keeping the Green. Like I mentioned I was bored lol
