64X vw bug
After wrecking my 65 back in 05' I decided to start fresh from the pan up. This was day 1 back on 06' sometime and as you can see if you look closely all there is, is the pan and a rusted ass master cylinder. Looking back on the whole project now i wish i had the pan powder coated.
Obviously the tranny is going to be mounted 1st. BTW its a Freeway Flyer and Im using urethane front mounts.
I never got to take any pix of the body before I put it on, or the front end. Eventually I found out the year of the body was in fact a 64. Here's a couple before and after shots of the interior though. Horrible Lighting I know.
Heres a few shots of the carpet I stuck in. Desperately needs to be redone but its in there for now. HAHA
My buddy choppin' up some angle iron to make new seat brackets.
Fire Bottle is a MUST!!!
Here's a shot of the exterior as we were doing the interior.
Engines in...
Doors...
Now for the fenders...
Porsche style headlights
