how long has the car been sitting? sounds like you have a bad fuel pump/pumps. seen it plenty of times on benzs that i have bought/worked on

Eh, the 380 is a 1-pump car. I've only heard of a pre-1986 107/126 having the fuel pump go bad once. The fuel pump relay is much more common, easier to diagnose, and cheaper to fix, so fingers crossed....

Okay... I pulled the liner of the glove compartment out. I see what I believe is the relay, but it has no text printed on the unit. I guess I'll pull it out to see if it's the relay...

Might be an aftermarket one that's already in there. There must be something written on it, right? Any identifying marks you see, tell me. Or, just take a picture and I'll run out to my car and compare.

Oh, you're in the close part of Chesapeake...if we can't get it fixed over the internet, I'll just throw my tools in my trunk and come on down. If it's a problem a 380 can have, I've fixed it (my dad had bought my car new in 1985 and it only got this engine a little over a year ago, I took over the maintenance and repairs when I was 12).

So, I jumped the relay and it did not start. The relay clicks when you turn the key the accessory mode.
Check the fuel pump w/ a jump?
The relay appears to be an OEM one, as it has the Benz insignia along w/ the other pre-described text (5500, etc.).

You can also try hitting the fuel pump with a hammer while someone cranks the car (on the post-1986 126/107s that I've seen with failed pumps this will get them going).
