The ka-t vs. sr debate will never end. KAt is just that. A stock turbo motor. The ka's have a pretty low compression ratio (good for turbo). Also the KA has more displacement by 400 cc's over the sr. But the sr is a "fairly" straight forward swap that is stock turbo. Lot's of potential. Your choice. It really depends on your goals and other details, ie internals, work done, or stock motor.

SR20DET is the only option, fuck KA24D turbo, it's not JDM so it doesn't belong on your soon to be hotness silvia or 180SX

KA24DET, SR20DET (s13, s14, s15), RB20DET, RB25DET, RB26DETT, CA18DET, 2JZGTE, and some v8s will work, not sure which. possibilities are endless.
