2 tickets in 3 days
ok i got a ef civic and i got 2 exhaust tickets in 3 days.... does anyone know of a good exhaust i can put on the car that isn't loud...i hava an ls/vtec set up so i need some good flow.... any suggestions would be appreciated!!!!

anything that doesn't draw attention.. but it could also be your driving that's getting you tickets. are you cruising around in low gears at high rpm's? I'm sure you'll say no, but I'm relatively sure that's part of why you got tickets--aside from the fact that you probably have a big shiny exhaust sticking out from the car.

LOL no im not some young ricer running around reving his car out... man im 33yrs old and i drive senceable. and no my current exhaust is not huge... it is a chrome exhaust though... you know you shouldnt make any assumptions to peoples driving habits if you dont know the facts...I also live in fairfax county which are some of the largest asshole cops in va...
now with all that said lets try this again does anyone know a descent exhaust thats got a quiet tone...

Well, I've been using 2.5" with a dynomax Ultra Flo, a 22" resonator and of course a cat for over 7 years now on my CRX.
Now it might not be hip, it might not "look" big, it won't cost an shit ton...but it will be quiet and flow more than you'll ever need for N/A.
And guess what...
No tickets!

I replaced my greddy on my old hatch with a thrush turbo muffler from advance auto and painted it high temp black and never got pulled over again. it sounds very throaty pretty quite until wot. I had a gsr in that hatch (eg) now I have an ef that ima do the same to with a ls/vtec
