Maybe this will clear it up for you.
A Silvia front can go on any 94 or earlier 240SX. If done on a car that has a 180SX rear it is known as a Sil-80 (Silvia front 180SX rear)
This is just what I understand it to be, I could be completely wrong, in which case hopefully someone will correct me. Like I said before I don't have a S13 so my knowledge about them isn't perfect.
- All USDM 240SX (89-94) have JDM 180SX fronts
- USDM 240SX that are hatchbacks (89-90) have JDM 180SX rears
- USDM 240SX that are coupes (91-94) have JDM Silvia rears
