The motor I was talking about was a K24/20a. If you would of read the link, you would of seen that.

Is there some reason it has to be 350whp?

Can you seriously get high 12's out of a near-stock K20A? I had no idea (not sarcasm).

Pistons, cams (stg 1) a cheapy header and Kpro got us 12.0 on slicks in an EG.

...and it definitely wont run worth a shit as a daily driver.

Have you ever driven in a K swapped civic? I'm sure if you had, you'ld be happy with a mostly stock swap.

You got that right. I kinda sorta miss mine. All you really need is some IPS K2 cams a DTR Header and a tune and that should be more than enough. Fuck 350whp. You can have 250whp for a lot cheaper and still whoop up on people on the streets and run high 11's RELIABLY.

Buddy of mine,(Alex) has a k24/with a2 head that runs 11:9? on slicks. It is his real street car, not some trailer queen with plates on it. He won the MIR event last month in the all motor class. And you can say what you want but a real 11 sec street car is more than enough for anyone. What is suprising to me is how fuel efficient and easy it is to drive on the street. It idles perfect. Has a lot of torque, runs smooth, not peaky.. Just lets you know who is number 2 in the race when you line up next to him.
