The switch doesn't turn on until it reaches the right temp. A new switch won't turn on unless the temp is high enough.

Have you found a factory service manual yet? They have schematics in them.

That tells me that you haven't reached the threshold temp of the switch. A thermostat opens at a lower temp than a fan switch, or else the fan would run all the time whenever there was coolant flowing through the radiator.

How did you jump across the temp switch to turn the fan on? You must have a wiring issue or something like that, because the fan circuit is one of the simplest circuits in the entire car. There isn't a heck of a lot that can go wrong.

Here, download the 92-95 Civic service manual. There are schematics and troubleshooting flowcharts inside. That should be all you need.

You should be able to find out exactly what it's doing with a factory service manual and a multimeter.

If you have power there, just go down the line until you find something without power and you will find the problem by process of elimination. It really is easy if you have the right tools... GL

Well, hopefully we've cleared that up. Please keep up to date. I love to hear what fucked up electrical problems people have cuz I know we've all been through it....
