No, just a waste of money if you're trying to improve audio performance. They sometimes help problems that an audio system causes in the rest of the electrical system.
I was just dismayed that you regurgitated the same tired crap that gets spread around when people don't know any better. I really hate the cliches like "discharged caps become a load" and things like that. Yes, that's true, somewhat, sometimes.
I'm sure you don't go around saying things like "Nitrous is bad, it'll blow your engine up", which is just as reckless a statement if that's the only thing you say..

My g/fs 05 Altima had the bose system as well, I know Im not much help because we left all the factory stuff but I did install a deck and subs for her, All factory stuff sounds cleaner with the new deck and the 12s only add to the sound. But hers is 800 watts and has no dimming whatsoever
