The only way I figured it out was by getting under the car and looking directly up at where the front crank seal is. Then I followed that line straight back towards the firewall and if that's the area where the oil was.
+1.. clean the entire motor off and drive it around and see where its coming from. most likely the oil pump or front main seal, when the motor is running the oil goes everywhere off the crank pulley

I've already cleaned the whole motor. It is not the crank or rear main seals. Both ends of the motor and completely oil free. Bought a new oil cooler gasket and will be replacing that today and seeing if it is that. The it will be the cam cap and vetc pressure switch gasket and dizzy o-ring cause there is an oil leak from up there also.

So you've cleaned the whole engine and it's leaking so badly that oil is getting everywhere too fast to find out where it's coming from?

NO. I've cleaned the whole engine and could not see the oil leak. not oil really leaking. Then I got my car tuned and it was smoking pretty bad, not through the exhaust, but from under the car. Like something it leaking onto the exhaust. And when i drive it hard and oil pressure is up, I can smell something burning off the exhaust. There is not a huge leak and fluid levels in the motor and tranny are always good. But there is an oil residue on the rear crossmember and shiftlinkage and stuff. Not oil soaked, but there is oil or something oil it.

I have those leaks too. Can a head gasket also be the cause because I have oil coming from the corner of that too. Or is just the leak down from the stuff above it?
