I'm almost sure that with 96-00 Civics you can use your stock mounts for B series swaps. But I would highly recommend upgrading your driver side motor mount. The stock mounts on that side are super weak, hense why I have a massive dent in my hood. Others will probably chime in about the lameness of that mount. If you are on a little bit of a budget, I would recommend the passwordjdm driver side motor mount. I'm pretty sure it was like 149.00 or something like that. I have it for my car and the motor doesn't move at all. Hope this helps you out, if you need anymore help just PM me.

dont swap the motor unless you plan to keep the car a very long time. Otherwise its just throwing money away.

I'd be afraid to use solid mounts even with urethane to dampen, most I'd use is urethane inserts or something, and only then if the stock mounts are wearing. wouldnt want the engine nor the chassis to have to absorb a bunch of extra vibration especially on an engine thats not new.

The motor in the car threw a rod.

You keep stock mounts.
You need 99-00 Civic Si torque mount bracket for trans. You need P30 AC bracket. 99-00 Si timing belt mount bracket and plate. 99-00 Si rear T-bracket.
Stock mounts held it down on my car with me launching at the track making 180whp 125tq.
Hell, they even held 310whp 220tq with many launches.

I'd go with HMotorsOnline. Warranty and I've NEVER gotten a bad motor from Steve.
I've ordered 2 b16 swaps, 1 b16 longblock, 2 ITR trans, and 1 ITR longblock from him.

STOCK 99-00 Si motor swaps with documentation go for 1600-2000 depending on miles, maintence work done and documentation.

Any more SOLID information, you can PM me.

hmotorsonline will include the hasports for a decent price if you get the full kit. A friend of mine on here bought a b16 from them and it runs like a dream. The solid mounts do rattle your balls for awhile, but they loosened up a decent bit and are only noticeable at low rpms when the engine starts to idle.

That being said... the stock mounts they send you are fine as long as you're not launching the car or trying to catch 2nd and 3rd all the time. If you do go with stock mounts, I'd pick up the AC bracket and torque mount for a b-series just to be safe. I only paid $25 for mine.

Yeah I already got a motor, trans, axles, harness, mounts, and guage cluster for 1300. 53,000 miles out of an 00 si. Just waiting on it to be delivered.

Will I be able to use the ex throttle cable?
