Re: b20 swap
the driverside mount is the same on d-series....what is diff...is the timming belt bracket(under the cam gears/bracket on the block)so u need a si timming belt bracket...and then u will need b-series torque mounts

Re: b20 swap
uhh WRONG. if hes doing a b20 swap then he should use an Ls or B20 harness. Also his regular ex or w/e kind of ek he has harness will be fine. When i did my ls swap in my ek i didnt need to change harness. just dropped the motor in and it worked fine.

Re: b20 swap
i have a b20 in a ek and i had a d16y8 ex body . i used the same ex harness and used my stock ecu that came with the car . i used stock mounts but needed to replace two of them (si mount )had to decide if i wanted to keep my ps or ac . so i keep my ac . there is another bracket you can buy to keep both but it is up to you . btw my check enigine light is on becasue of my ecu . i used a ls hydro tranny.
no u dont have to use a ls intake mani.
ls ecu would be the best .
si mounts or hasport kit . Stock Si driverside and rear t bracket if you want to use ur pass side mount and buy the other two .
you stock harness will work but when you look for a ecu there is a A and B make sure you get the right one or buy a conversion harness .
i kept the stock ex harness because down the road i wanted to put a vtec head on it and that would be one less thing to wire up down the road .

Re: b20 swap
No. OBD-x is the emissions compliance generation, and is model year dependent. 88-91 is generally OBD1, 92-95 is OBD1, 96-98, is OBD2a, 99-00+ is usually OBD2b. There are sometimes exceptions with some car brands or models, some manufacturers will switch earlier or later than others depending on laws, model release dates, etc.
Anyway though, the year of the engine usually dictates what OBD generation an engine is, so any JDM engine from a car sold during late 1991 to late 1995 1992-1995 model years) would be OBD1, and any engine from a car before or after that time would not be OBD1.
