was that 1300 for the b20z or b20b cause the b20b motor alone they sell for like 500, that b20z is like 2 300 more

an with the b20z would i have to change that intake manifold, cause i know on the b20b's you have to change that giraffe manifold in order for it to fit under the hood of a ek

Depends on if the b20z comes with the giraffe manifold or not. If it does, say fuck it and ride without a hood.

Get the b20, and the correct manifold. You can probably find one for $500-600. Pick up an ls trans for $200. But be prepared to have an extra $600 or so to pick up the extra parts you need going d to b series like mounts, linkage, ecu, harness, axles, etc. It's going to run you $1200 -$1500 so you might want to just drop in another z6. For the same price you can build it and you dont need the conversion parts.

just picked up a complete b16 swap out of a ek for 450 bucks. Car was totaled, guy didn't know what he had. Just have to look for them. They are out there
