I would look for fuel leaks too. ALso check and make absolutely sure that each and every connector is where it should be. I had a similar problem with my swap (bucked and stuttered at about 3k) and it was a combination of fuel leaks and connectors connected in wrong places.

Re: Broke Honda, need advice
was it the vertical sensor with one coolant hose going to it and a short length of wire and then a connector or the horizontal sensor closest to the tps or the one on the side of the intake manifold?

sounds to me like you have something plugged in wrong. the temp guage is never supposed to drop that fast. check your plugs. do you have a check engine light?

or take it up to the parts store and they can tell you a DTC and then look up the DTC, and if its a sensor it will tell you what sensor it is and then go to that sensor and find the problem.

Re: Broke Honda, need advice
i have fixed the problem it was the sensor that has the flat two prong plug, well from where you have to change it over to that style plug it was crossed
but.... a new problem has arrived, when you first start it up it idles fine, and then when you drive it around the block and then let it idle it acts like it has a vacum leak; but if you go around the block again it will idle fine. I tried spraying vacum lines with starter fluid to see if it would spike and got no results. I also ziptied every vacum connection and no avail. Any ideas?
I appreciate all the help.
