can 13.7 comp be used for daily if tuned?

you would have to retard the ignition timing to run pump, which would decrease any power gains u would see from the higher compression. 11.5 is the max i would go on pump but do what u like

You can run higher than 11.5 on pump...i wouldn't run 13.7, but with the race gas mixed in I think he will be fine.

If I read his setup right, it sounds like he's running 13.7 pistons PLUS "h. comp valves" (im guessing flat-faced valves). Which would put him close to 14:1. He didnt say wether he's running a thinner (.015") head gasket or not. Either way I wouldn't put pump gas anywhere near that motor.

is 13.7 comp to high for daily/ ill be using race gas mixed or just race gas alone. i dont drive the car everyday just on weekends..i have cousin with a k24/k20 with 15.7 i belive and he drove his car in the street..not everyday use though..i just want to know if anyone with a b series drives their car with that high of a compression
okay... h22a,sleeved,13.7 pistons,eagle rods,sk pro 3 cams,sk2 valvetrain,h.comp valves,greddy belt,knife edged crank,rmf all motor header,adj.cam gears,s300,mixed with race gas,750 rc injectors,aem fuel rail,adj.regulator,msd dizzy,ngk plugs,electric cut out..tuning with open headers but still running cat for emissions...
