Went and got a battery and it starts up so much better, but shuts off if I don't keep RPMs up lol Would the fuel filter do this?

UPDATE: The RPMs seem to be fudged up for some reason. It'll idle at 800 and be fine but then it'll drop down to 600-400 and the car shakes violently trying to keep itself alive. I can usually smell unburnt fuel around this time, at least that's what I pick up with mah nose. I loathe this car.

Pull out your spark plugs one by one, attach them to the wire and see if they all fire. Could be as easy as a bad plug, Did you have any maintenance done to it recently?

The last thing I had done to it was an inspection and I drove it around all morning fine, maybe its just time for new plugs. Ill check tomorrow morning.

And I kinda push started my car, it stalled out in a parking lot with a slope so I pushed it down it and started haha
Annnd I called the number on my previous invoice. If it's fucked up still saturday I'll be headed your way with it.
