car shakes at high speeds, what can i do???

i cant believe all of you missed this. he just put a new suspension on and he didnt say anythig about getting an alignment done.
go get an alignment, i would bet money thats what your problem is.

I'm sure a hundred different things could cause that. Obvious things to check would be tires (tread wear, balance), alignment, wheel bearings, tie rods, shocks, stuff like that.

all i have done to the suspension is springs/shocks. but i also havent gone that fast since i got them put on my car. thanks.

get an alignment, they'll shake down the front end to check for steering and suspension problems b4 they do the alignment, at least they should. you should also check to see if it still does it, b4 the alignment and after...not condoning doing 90+ or anything, but its gotta be right....

yea, i dont especially like driving around fast like that, but its fun once in a while to hit 100 and then slow down(on a road away from people ofcourse. so that its semi-safe). i don't plan on going that fast much at all just because of all the trouble and dangers that follow along with going fast like that.
do u think the problem could be that my car is really light-weight and that it might just be the wind throwing my car around because of the high speeds?
