Car Shakes When Going Over 30. Anyone May Know Why??
I have a civic hatchback and recently juss put a single cam in it. when i drive past 30 the steering wheel and car(dash n Doors) shake. At first i was Hoping it would just be the axles but now that i think about it, i dont think thats it.
Anyone experience this before or know what it could be?
Could it possibly be frame damage??

I'm inclined to think that it has something to do with one of the wheels. Maybe a bent rim, or one might be out of balance. Also if someone put fix a flat or something like that in one and didn't drive afterward like your supposed to that would cause it too. Good luck and hopefully you find the culprit.

Take it to an alignment shop. Some types of alignment problems can make tires constantly load and unload and create shaking like that. It could be a worn suspension or steering bushing too.
Does this have something to do with your swap; were you implying that it was not shaking like this before you did the swap?

Even though you said you dont think its the axles it would seem to an option. My car shook pretty bad at certain low speeds but went away at 50 or so but came back at higher speeds. My problem was both axles messed up.
