car shuts off while driving. need help
ok so i have an integra with a type r swap in the car with an aftermarket clutch and flywheel. the car runs fine while driving and in gear. when you come to a slow down like coming to a stop light, i push the clutch in and the car loses rpms and itll shut off sometimes but will start right back up. it runs fine at idle and drives fine if im shifting in gear. just shuts off when the clutch is pushed all the way down.
any ideas on what would cause this?

What throttle body you running?
You say it idles fine, but what is it idling at?
Set base idle properly?

Timing is set correctly?
You say when coming to a stop. So you are braking when it dies. Does it die if you get to a stop with the e-brake.

Re: car shuts off while driving. need help
Do you have a lightened flywheel, and have you cleaned the IACV? This is a fairly common problem where the engine overshoots the transition from run to idle and drops below the idle setpoint range. Basically the RPM is able to drop too fast and the idle regulation can't catch it quick enough. If you can't get enough idle airflow, or the flywheel is too light so the engine can change RPM faster than what the ECU calibration is expecting, you can have problems. This may not be the issue, but it's worth thinking about. It could be a sensor problem also, but it's good to check the IACV for a clogged screen first, and you haven't said what engine modifications you have.

yes i cleaned the iacv. then i noticed it only does it alot when it is warm out. when its cold, itll probably only do it once. someone said it could be the basemap on it. for the flywheel, sorry its a stock one, my mistake.

did the car start doing this after you cleaned the iacv...because mine did the same thing afterwards but after a few hours of that it went away.
