gotta use that purp. works miracles. just let it marinate for a while before you wash away
don't be afraid to agitate it with a sponge or brush as well

All of your sensors should have water resistant connectors. Firing the engine up wet should never be a problem.

amazing to see how many people work on their vehicles and do not put back the protective covers, weather it be mechanical or electrical
