Easiest way is to remove the items from the loop and apply power.

In other words, disconnect the radio...does it still blow, then proceed

disconnect the cig. lighter, does it still blow, then proceed

disconnect the clock, and so on.....

put a 40 amp in there. thats what i did in my da and it hasnt blown since

i have done all of that lol. but i am thinking that what imma have to do. But i have disconnected everything and it still blows.

so i found where the problem is at its behind the fuse box. but i don't know which wire lol. so imma investigate that. I did what the other guy said by putting a 40a in there and thats when i seen smoking from behind the box where the short is. now i have to find it.

it is finally fixed. it was the door switch and it was rusty. lol

ok I'm glad you fixed the problem, but i do want to mention one thing.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER do that again where you put the 40amp fuse in your fuse block. Do you know what kind of pain in the ass it would have been if you burned up some wires? You'd have to go replacing wires.

Just wanted to let you know.
