Clutch not engaging??
I have a 90 civic std the clutch will not engage,i can drive the car but i have to start it in gear.
some people told me it was the clutch(how would that be if i can still drive it?).owner before me changed the clutch cable, tranny, clutch thinking that was the problem and it wasnt.
Im think its the pedal, clutch cable is stretched out,.
what do you guys think?
Thanks in advance

Re: Clutch not engaging??
So when the clutch pedal is pressed, can you see the throwout fork move on the trans?
There really isn't much that can go wrong with a clutch system. It just bolts to the flywheel and gets engaged or disengaged with the pedal by a throwout fork. Is it the correct flywheel for that car?
