??? LS isn't much of an upgrade. Both the engines op is talking about are cheap and easy to build. Not to mention he is only replacing the engine and HE SAID HE "ALREADY HAD A GSR; WANT MORE FUEL ECO."

Read before you post. You've been here for like three days. . . shouldn't you been reading the rules or making incorrect and incoherient threads?

ZC might be "JDM" but the aspects that make a JDM motor more sought after than a USDM (higher compression/higher revs) are missing from that motor. It's like 9.0:1 and at most I believe the ZC head came with "slighty" more aggressive cam and timing.

I have a ZC in my EF right now and I run 87 and get 35-40 mpg. That's the only reason to buy one.

well it he REALLY wanted great gas mileage he would get a full VX swap
