i had dropzone struts on 2 of my cars. never had any problems and rode pretty good even with no name ebay coilovers.

the lowered shock body is def something im looking for as well. My DA is just sitting on the shock body. no suspension travel at all lol, as soon as i saw that, it went back on jackstands lol. Those Dropzones def look like they have a shorter shock body. I'll pm you or post up if/when i find a decent strut for a good price.

i dunno man, not from experience but I read that they suck pretty hard.

GR2s are garbage with anything other than stock springs.

I doubt Dropzones are much better.

my boy had them on his civic after the stock started to leak...he didn't like them.
I've got two dropzone springs rated at 450 pounds from his car...if your intrested hit me up.

Dont use GR2's on springs that drop more then 1" if not they will bottom out and blow...had it happen..

Had GR2's with Mopar Hi-rates on my Dodge and loved em. But vada9 is right you can't really go much lower than 1'' but from the sound of it you're not looking to drop that much anyways so go ahead.

Save your money. Do it right the first time $99/pr comes to $198 for the car. Replace every few months = alot of money/yr

Get some tried and trued koni sports or a full bodied coilover kit (although some of these are garbage as well).

They well GREATLY out dampen those ebay units and last much much longer
