when you port something you want the intake side to be rough and the exhaust to be smooth

Good point but also. There really is no difference in comparison between 264/272 and 272/272 according to FP.

he also has a different motor....u get completely different gains from upgrading a turbo compared to putting a turbo on (thats assumin 1fastgs is a GS with aftermarket turbo kit)
adam (turbo98) has just about every bolt on u can get. a decent size fmic, all intercooler piping, bov, tubular manifold, 3" o2 housing, 3" downpipe eliminating cat and 3" all the way through exhaust, fuel pressure regulator, upgraded injectors, evo3gt turbo which is basically the big 16g only ported, intake, S-AFC 2 which millenium used to tune the car with.might be forgetting something else...but he pulled 317 at 20psi...any higher on stock head gasket and itll blow....not to mention that the car was owned by an old old old old guy and he was the only owner and it was completely bone stock when adam got with around 60ks miles on it...so the motor was in excellent condition. my .02
o yeah and tim,go with 20g if u wanna go "big"

Nah that was just his screenname it was a 91 gst with 650's safcII, mbc and evoIII16g ar 22psi, and full 3in turbo back. W/STOCK smic

and for the 20g you might as well as go 50trim. much cheaper and more power.

I would stay with the 16g untill you really need to upgrade it. There are a few people running high 11's and a crap load of people running 12's. I think it all depends on what kinda times you want to run. If you do plan on getting a bigger turbo, I would get bigger injectors.
