I'm a defense contractor.

edit: Also, if your car is older and/or doesn't come with 4AWG on the "big 3", that might be something worth considering.

If I brought my car by your place after work one day, would you do this for money?

I could but .... life is about to suck next Saturday with the fall semester starting though. I've got another customer in line right now, but waiting a week for his car to be freed up to come to me.

PM me with details on what you want / when you want it done and we'll go from there

Yeah, but you don't have your location in your profile, so I have no idea if you're near me to offer you monies.

eh? Chris (Fabrik8) is right though. single 4AWG in to triple or quad 8AWG out is overkill for 45A, but I can't source a single 8AWG in to triple or quad 10-12AWG out fused d-block.

Home made Buss bar. Or a litle junction box like I have on my Caprice. Any 91-93 B body (I know for a fact) have it. It ties 2 the main batter power wire to mulitple outputs. All cars have them I belive. Snag one of those from Pick-a-Part, and there you go.

You just need a fuse on the main feed, an individual fuse for each compressor could work, and would cut down on trouble shooting but isnt needed.

There are so many ways to do it though.

Nothing wrong with overkill on electrical stuff, not like its 0ga or something thatd be stupid.

Prefer stinger or comparable parts that have insulating covers.

Prefer using new/not corroded parts.

Troubleshooting ease is only a positive side benefit, there is a reason why components should be individually fused.
