Take off the starter and get it tested. And you do know there are 3 different starters for that car. Do you have the starter wired up properly?(Ground wire, positive cable)

Re-check timing as well.

How did you check to make sure you have fuel delivery?

you can smell the fuel and theres nothing obstructing it. and i didnt know that it had 3 starters. ill try to get my instructor come to my house to see if he can figure out whats going on with it because i dont have a DVOM

Can you hear the fuel pump prime? Have you replaced the spark plugs and wires as well?

yeah i hear it prime on On(III) and i put NGK plugs in but not the wires. i was planning on changing those on thurs when i get paid. i tried using some needle nose pliers to pull the connector down the boot because it wasnt making a good connection with the plug and it still didnt work.

It sounds to me that your timing is off. Eliminate the distributor since you have spark. Get the starter checked as well.

i put the timing on TDC so i guess ill do it again. it might also be dizzy timing now that i think of it....hmmmm...i hope to god i can get my hands on a DVOM
