i think some people forget to do the obvious to add/restore hp such as a tune up

i did a major tune up right before i turbocharged my car.....belts, timing belt, water pump, thermostat, oil & filter, plugs (for a turbo'ed car), distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter....all that jazz. had to make sure the engine was ready for it. and it runs like a dream.
