The point being that the OP said he was using low compression pistons. That being the case, the only possibilites for a thicker gasket would be to lower compression, as you stated, or to provide additional layers for sealing, which would only be needed in very high horsepower applications, on race fuel.

What rods do you have? Are you asking if JE 8.9:1's is ok? Or do you already have them? Engine management? Such a general question, so much so I'd be somewhat afraid to answer.

Don't drive it untuned, get a better kit then a drag 3, get a engine management not a FMU.

Yup, I definitely agree.... if you are already running a set of low compression pistons.... no need for thicker head gasket.....

im running a peakboost kit on a stock gsr with 550 and 6psi i put down 260 holding up for 4 months now
