Jarrod i think ima go with wat your suggesting. That sounds pretty good. Just out of curiousty though is the GSR or LS/VTEC stronger?!? And which is better a all motor or turbo setup.

LS/Vtec will be stronger than a Gs-R.

But then you run into the crank not being balanced, more external oil lines. It just wasn't meant to be. Which is why I suggested a Gs-R motor over a LS/Vtec motor.

Although, if you do a LS/Vtec motor. 81.5mm bore, balanced rotating assembly, golden eagle LS/Vtec kit(also I think you can get more plugs if your going turbo aswell, makes oil supply easier) and build the head.

Put a turbo kit on it and let it scream.

The amount of setups out there are never ending. I mean, you could do a straight up cam'd out LS with a Pr8 head and a edlebrock intakemanifold. Port matched with a turbo kit. That'd make power.

For your money though, I'd just get a motor swap. Unless your really really handy with a wrench.

Well im just going to do a GS-R swap, hopefully boosting asap! Now for building the motor what should I do first?!? And if you kno anyone selling a hatch around VA that would be a help too.

Like most, LSVTEC-T. LSVTEC is fairly cheap to put together... Dont get me wrong. There is nothing wrong with boosting an ITR motor, as long as it is done right with a great tuner. I put down 309 whp and 208 tq on a stock JDM ITR @ 9 psi, only revving to 7500 RPM... and was still making power on my dyno sheet. We just didnt want to push it. If you just want a fun daily driver, that's fine. But if you want more, build an LSVTEC-T.

Here is my opinion. LS/Vtec and do whatever you want to do to it after that. You can build a strong LS/vtec for probably ls than half you will spend on a Type-R swap and be faster without boost. Or you can build it for boost and be much baster than a boosted type-r.

LS/VTEC but put an LS crank in a GSR bottom end, that is what one of my motors is

Looks like LS/VTEC may be a good choice, as long its done correctly. Ive seen a yellow Ek9 @ richmond run i want so say high 11s not sure, dont quote me on that but it had an LS/VTEC turbo, i know the car moved like a scared rabbit......
