Both Boostfed and myself have made over 600+whp on built ls/vtec turbos.

Yeah those some crazy #s, I know LS/VTEC-T setups are nasty when built and tuned correctly. I wish I could put a VE head on my SR20 and make 600hp on boost ....

Why get a complete GSR swap if you are going to build the motor itself for boost anyway? Seriously man, might as well build an LSVTEC. It will be cheaper. You can get a complete LS bottom end for less than $200. Then a GSR/B16 head between $400-600....

Well how much work is a LS/VTEC going to be. I mean I know about Hondas, but doing that sounds a lil diffulcult. Like I said before I just want something to drive around everyday that is fast. I dont have to be the fastest around though. But thanks for all the help for real.

Well, you mentioned about building the GSR motor for boost. It's the same as building an LSVTEC for boost + adding the external VTEC oil line. It'll be cheaper. But, if you just want a fun daily driven boosted Honda, no need to build the motor for boost. You'll be amazed at how much a 280-300+ whp feel on the street. That is all stock motor but boosted with a decent turbo set-up and a tuned electronic fuel management like CROME/Uberdata/Hondata. If you want to piece a kit together, let me know. I can fabricate the piping including the downpipe for a decent price.

Like Arnel said.

You will be amazed at what 280 will feel like on the street. Granted everything else goes right, and you can halfway drive. The car will be capable of 12 second E.Ts with the proper tire setup.

IMO a Honda that drives everyday and is capable of 12 E.Ts is more than enough.
