ya i looked at one of the manuals and it didnt say the wire colors. just how to put them in the headlight. and ya. well ill keep lookin.

I only kept the constructive ones, because I'm tired of people getting flamed for asking tech questions. If that means all your posts got deleted, that's your fault.
So here's what I just found for 97 Civics. For the left side, red/black (red with black stripe, first color is always primary color and second is stripe color) is parking light power, green/red is turn signal power, black is ground. For the right side, it's the same but green/yellow is turn signal power.
So you should wire halo power into the red/black wire on each side. Ground could go to a bolt nearby, or into the black parking light ground wire.
If the white halo wires have a ring terminal on them like that, they're ground.
Oh, and by the way, check to see if there are current limiting resistors anywhere. Apparently many halos don't come with a resistor already installed. That means that you'll destroy the LEDs but connecting them directly to 12V without the resistor in series.
I found a few good install writeups on Focus, Mustang, and Grand Am forums. Go figure.
