Syncros have nothing to do with keeping the unit in gear. Forget the syncro. Could be bent clutch fork, bad detent ball and spring, bad slider or a bad 4th gear itself. Remote possibility of a sift linkage or a shift selector box bad as well. Another question is, has the unit ever been apart before?

where are you located? is it something you can figure out quick? i mean 1 or 2 things could cause it to pop out of gear... i guess i could pull the tranny out sometime early this week...while its out i might as well replace everything. ill give you a shout sometime tomorrow afternoon...what would i be looking at price wise?...thanks man
