well to my understanding...the spring is constructed a certain way to help maintain the weight of the car....if say for instance that you cut 1 coil from the spring....youve already cut away the amount that it actually supposed to handle...you also will lose your comfortness of the ride and incase if you wanna go back up to stock height...you will have to spend money to buy another set of stock springs....IF ANY OF THIS SEEMS WRONG TO YOU...PLEASE HELP ME OUT....like i said this is just to my understanding.....if i was you though....id rather invest in some springs/coilovers depending on what you wanna do...race/showif you do race id rather go with springs.....show.....coilovers..

you guys should see these IMs I get from this guy. he wants to put a cage in his already wrecked civic because it looks "cool"... his screen name is 'lowcivic', yet he doesn't even have a lowered car, and wants to cut the coils. I could go on, but I don't want to whore the thread that bad.
