2x on the AIC, but would that throw a code?

If it's not only at an idle, it might be an o2 sensor. In my old d series the RPMs would bounce.

It doesn't do it all of the time.. just every once in a while it jumps up and down from 1000 to 2000 or from 1 to 1500.

IAC. And I dont think it would throw a code. It might. My friend's 3000 had an IAC problem and it didnt throw a code. But then again.... It was pretty fucked up.

Any other symptoms? Hesitation? Sputtering? Loss of power?

Yeah everyone here at the shop has said the same thing, "IAC" Because its not doing it all of the time. Just when it feels like it. Also, its not throwing off any kind of check engine or anything. So I will try and clean it out and see what that does for me.

Thanks for all of the help and replies!

dunno if cleaning it out will help or not as they have like a spring in them. my old ek had the same problem but threw out a p0505 code for it. it would kick a little when i shifted and hesitated a little. new IAC=150ish or so.
