Help me! Pleeeeeeease!!!!
I have a 93 integra Ls with a 95 Ls motor(bought it that way). My engine is idoling real low, like 6-8 hundred rpm. My friend showed me how to test an obd1 motor with a paperclip. So I went to do it on mine and couldn't find the plug he stuck it in. So I went to advanced and asked them and they said it was under the change compartment. Still couldn't find it. I took the whole bottom of the dash off and still couldn't find it. Does anyone know where this plug could be??
Any tips on a better way to test this without moving the vehical( I don't drive it)??
Any help or suggestions at all??
Please! And thanks in advanced!!

Ok. Thats a normal idle, dont freak out. First off unless the car is throwing a CEL, why do you need to check it?
What you're trying to do with the "paperclip trick" is how you check your problem code when your car has its Check Engine Light on. You put the paperclip into 2 small holes on the ECU. Not just any holes, 2 specific holes.

You're looking for the service check connector, which is behind/under the right side of the glove box area. It's a green 2 pin plug (or was it blue, I can't remember). That's what you're jumping with the paperclip. It's there, you just aren't seeing it.

ok. will check for plug again...
but with the idol, i thought 1000 to 1200 rpm was normal??
which is what it usually idols at...
when it get down to 600-800rpm, the whols car starts shaking from what seems like the car trying to stay running?

its green on both mines
op... someone prolly did a crappy job on you swap im guessing. maybe the internals arent stock or something? either way, the
answer the question.. is it throwing a check engine light? yellow light... looks like an engine? lol. if not, finding the green plug wont help you.
