Is the noise constant? Or does it only happen during accel?

In the lower center of the throttle body there is a rectangular opening. while the engine is running put your finger slowly over the opening. Careful it will have a lot of vacume. As you slowly cover the hole does the sound go away or deaden at all? Also do you feel the harmonics from the sound in the tip of your finger?

If you can't find it quickly. Get a can of carb cleaner, use the straw that comes taped to the can to localize the spray. Spray it sparingly around the throttle body and when the engine changes speed, that is where to concentrate your effortd to find the vacume leak...

the bolt on the end snapped off....(on the ls throttle body)

new problem:

I made a gasket, and its idling kinda good kinda bad some times, but i put my hand over the t/b opening and the car stalls out. which is good. I think it might have something to do with my timing thouhg, because its kinda like gargle gargle gargle instead of running normal.
